- Governance Matters was founded over 20 years ago.
- Its founder and principal advisor is Seamus Hughes.
- Seamus has over 40 years experience in businesses of all sizes and has operated as Financial Controller, Chief Executive, Board Director and Board Chair.
- He is a member of the ACCA with post grad qualifications in Economics (UL), Risk Management (IRM & IOB), Corporate Governance (UCD & The Law Society of Ireland) and Compliance (LCOI).
